My Story

I have decided to set out on an adventure this summer to climb the second tallest mountain in Africa to raise money for Dig Deep, a charity that provides clean water and sanitation for communities in East Africa.

Ever since I was little I've always wanted to do something that would make a change in our world. I don't know what it is Africa had always called out to me and now I've been given the opportunity to and help to make the change I've wanted.

Mount Kenya is one of the toughest treks in the world with it being 5,199m above sea level. However, this is a challenge I'm ready to take. Dig Deep work in areas of East Africa where 8 out 10 people have now access to clean water and sanitation (this is includes children). They work to build taps and toilets for local communities and schools and provide vital hygiene and menstrual health training in order to create healthier and cleaner environments.
