- My Story
This year I have taken on the role of being a Team Leader for Dig Deep, so next summer I will be taking on my biggest challenge yet and climbing Kilimanjaro, all to raise money for their amazing cause.
Dig Deep is an awesome charity that works to help schools and communities in the South West of Kenya get access to clean water and sanitation. They work together with the locals to build taps and toilets and ensure that these facilities are maintained long term. Currently, they are working in the Bomet and Narok Counties where 8 out of 10 people lack access to clean water and sanitation. The impact of their work with schools in the area has been enourmous, with numbers of girls attending secondary school increasing massively and schools rocketing to tops of leaderboards. These are just a couple of the ripple effects that the basic necessities of clean water and sanitation can have.
I will be completing lots of fundraising events over the next year and would love your help to raise money for their projects. Whether this is by spreading the word, sparing your time to help organise or be a part of events, or any donations you can give, any form of contribution would be really appreciated!
